Inspiration - Moulin Rouge Las Vegas

The Moulin Rouge Las Vegas - opened in 1955 as "America's First Interracial Hotel". The owners hired black boxing champion Joe Louis a job as a greeter and trained blacks as waiters and waitresses. They scouted the West side for the "loveliest, leggiest ladies of their race" for a chorus line. (Cred: Smithsonian Mag, Jan 2013)

Do you see how fly these ladies are? They dressed to the nines and danced their butts off while simultaneously ending segregation by getting rid of racial barriers. Like, wow.
Sure, the Rouge closed after only four and a half month of being in business, but still.

And look at what they wore! Club-Tropicana Super-Neons, complete with feathers and heels and garters. It doesn't get better than that. These ladies are super hot, super talented, and pretty much the coolest kids around.
